We are proud to announce the recent award of the contract by S.I.F.EL. S.p.A. for the construction of the Computer-Based Centralized Control Apparatus of the Orbassano yard, a contract worth €6.5 million, financed also through PNRR funds.

To make the traffic of the future Line 5 of the Metropolitan Rail System efficient and smooth, RFI has arranged for the new tracks to be controlled by the above-mentioned ACC, one of the most modern railway traffic management and control facilities.

The works, awarded to the Temporary Business Consortium led by our company and Progress Rail Signaling S.p.A., are part of the project that will allow the entry of the new tracks into the future Torino-Orbassano line: the interventions include the upgrading of the track work, of the electrical traction and signaling systems to modernize the yard in preparation for the upgrade of the Torino-Lione section.

Another step to connect the future, together.
