On Sunday 26 September 2021, the companies We Build, SIFEL and CLF, who are carrying out the works on the Bicocca- Catenauova railway line, have activated the Bicocca station for phase 2b and the temporary diversion route no. 5. The works mainly involve civil structures, track works, electric traction and railway signalling.
The works were carried out between June and September of this year and have upgraded the historic line of the Bicocca station. Electrification of the temporary track was carried out, with the adjustment of the protection and return circuit, as well as other activities related to the installation of the systems.
The works continue for the commissioning of the down track of the section.
