Railway doubling of the new High-Capacity line Palermo – Catania

Our work continues on the VI contract lot of the railway doubling of the High Capacity line Palermo - Catania: the project, covering about 38 km of track between Catenanuova and the Bicocca station, was awarded by RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana and carried out by Webuild, with the support of Costruzioni Linee Ferroviarie S.p.A. for the railway track works and S.I.F.EL. S.p.A. for electric traction.

We are proud to work alongside two major companies on the creation of a valuable and strategic project for rail transport in southern Italy: being selected to manage the entire specialty of electric traction is, for us, a mark of esteem that demonstrates specific expertise in the sector, now widely established and appreciated nationwide.
